Transitions from one season to another always get me so motivated. I have been spending more time outside enjoying the beautiful weather and now ai am ready to tackle anything – What about you? What goal or project have you set aside, or even neglected (I’m raising my hand here) that you promised yourself that you would finally accomplish this year???
Well, I am so encouraged and motivated, so I want to do the same for you – I hope you’re ready to change your life for the better & Just do it!

I’m planning on giving you some powerful tips to get you started and equip you with everything you need to Overcome procrastination and start taking action on your dreams.
Do you remember when Nike rolled out the iconic “just do it” campaign in 1988? Over the next decade they lept from 18% up to 43% in the US market and from $877 million to $9.2 billion in sales worldwide.
Proving to the world and especially to you and I that there is a huge need for influential motivation to accomplish those tasks (or dreams and goals) which we believe in our heart of hearts that we can accomplish. But, even more than that, to simply have the courage to believe that we can accomplish them!

Unfortunately, it’s going to take a lot more than just a pair of tennis shoes or a T-shirt with the catchy slogan on it to make it happen we actually have to “just do it”.

So, where is the disconnect? When we think about procrastination, what usually comes to mind is Delaying or postponing tasks. However, the definition is a lot more serious than that. The word means moving or acting slowly so as to fall behind, and it implies a delay through laziness or apathy.”
Well, I don’t know about you beautiful dreamer, but the majority of my procrastination usually does not stem from apathy – on the contrary, I believe the majority of not jumping out and trying something new or pushing off till later what we could easily accomplish today is an underlying fear of failure, fear of how we will look, definitely fear of what other people think.
As tempting as it may be to keep putting off the tasks we are uncomfortable starting or maybe don’t enjoy, we need to face the reality that it will often lead to more stress later.
So, let’s identify if it is fear related or simply something we really don’t want to do. (I’m thinking cleaning out my closet.)

What would it look like to actually “just do it” and take action?

If you are ready to actually begin achieving your personal and professional goals, but you have found yourself caught up in a never ending cycle of procrastination, the shift towards success starts now!

I’m doing this right along with you, because I don’t want another month to pass me by with these goals left unpursued!
Stop what your doing and make a list of 1 to 3 things that you truly desire to accomplish from your dreams and goals before the end of the year.
Trust me, I know life can get busy, and before you know it six months to a year has passed you by and you haven’t even begun.
Begin now!
Remember those smart goals?
Maybe one of the reasons you have been procrastinating is because you didn’t have a clear idea of how to go about pursuing the goal that your’e wanting to accomplish. So we are going to do away with that ambiguity now. Write out your goal specifically with measurements and the most important thing is set a timeframe and most importantly, that deadline.
Figure out approximately how much time the goal will take. Keep in mind just like any other project, it will usually take a larger investment of time and or money than we initially believe ,so add in a little cushion just in case. There’s nothing like falling behind and feeling like a failure to reignite that procrastination.
Now that you have defined a timeframe. Divide the goal or task up into doable action steps. Now, put them on your calendar, or to-do list and let me know when you start and how it’s going.
